The kindergarten environment is often a child's first experience in learning to live as a member of the community.

Children at Armadale Early Learning Centre have the opportunity to extend their skills and knowledge, and to prepare themselves for the larger world to come. Our aim is to make this experience as happy as possible.

We offer:

  • 3-year old and 4-year old age groups

  • Exceeding - National Quality Standards

  • Full day programs for both our 3-year old and 4-year old programs

  • Highly qualified teachers and assistants

  • A warm and caring environment

  • Parental involvement

  • Biggest yard in Stonnington, shaded garden with playground equipment and two sandpits

  • Specialist movement and dance classes weekly

  • Amazing incursions including  Mobile Petting Farm, Soccer, Dance classes, Wild Life Discovery, Tai Chi,Captain Trash, Museum Dinosaurs & Fossils, Living Eggs and many more....

We couldn't be happier with Armadale ELC. The kindergarten has such a warm and friendly feel, it's a real community. The teachers are fantastic too, always on hand to chat to the parents and all the children have such affection for them… Our daughter Sophie has blossomed since starting at the kinder, she gets so excited when she wakes in the morning and realises that it's 'kinder day', she's made some gorgeous friends and so have we!

Additional Kindergarten Days (5 days a week)

Additional sessions are available if families want their child to attend 5 days per week with Flexible Hours. This means that in addition to the four-year-old core hours offered in the programs above, AELC also offer four-year-old Possum Group children the opportunity to attend an additional two days a week in the Kangaroo Group.  Please read about the Kangaroo Group above.

There are a limited number of placements for Flexible Hours. Please contact us if you would like to know more.
