On Monday we welcomed you all to Kindergarten to celebrate Mother’s Day. The children have been very excited about having you come and spend time with your child participating in experiences that they like to do. Time was taken when making your special gift that you can now treasure. I would like to thank Sara for her time and skills when it came to assisting each child to make their beads. When looking around the room while you were here I saw many smiling faces while enjoying the yummy food that you provided as well as when participating in experiences with your child. We do hope that you enjoyed yourselves.
Thursday was a rather a cold and sometimes wet day but it did not stop the children from climbing on the equipment, being on the swing or digging in the sandpit. But the talk was not just about the weather it was also how much fun it was having our mums stay at Kindergarten on Monday and of course about the RABBITS and what they have been doing since the children were here. Yes you guessed it; we sat in a circle on the mat indoors and watched two bunnies hop around. It seemed to be very exciting for many but some were unsure. Karen and I had to be very aware of where the bunnies were at all times so they were safe when on the mat. One did try an escape under the block cupboard but Karen was able to rescue it. Later in the session some children were able to sit and hold on to a baby bunny. They were very careful and loving to them. We are coming into our last week with the rabbits so please let me know if you are interested in purchasing one or even two. They do really make great pets.
