On Monday we were very lucky to be entertained by “David the Music Man.” He had the children very involved from the moment they sat down. David played instruments from different countries. The children were able to sing songs with him along with playing instruments which they enjoyed immensely. They watched everything he did. They laughed when he sang silly songs and they sang Twinkle twinkle little star as David played the harp. How lovely that was. David asked each child to come and play the slide trombone. They were very proud of themselves by doing this. How talented. Mind you there were times that some of the children had their hands on their ears as David was playing several instruments rather loud. This could lead to many building an interest or even passion for playing music. One day in the future I could be saying I know that amazing slide trombone player...................
On Thursday it was such a lovely day, so after consulting with the children it was decided that we stay outdoors. Well, there was so much happening such as climbing on the equipment which was a different heights, being on the swing and learning how to swing one self, as well as completing some of our mums gifts but best of all was the mummy bunny, Sally and her babies being out with us. Sally was away from her babies in a pen where she could run, stretch and eat grass. There was lots of time spent looking and touching Sally. Many children were very happy about this. Guess what will be happening next week.........YES we will be able to touch and hold the babies
See you at our MOTHER’S DAY celebrations.
