3 Year Old Kangaroo Group Blog 12/9/2014
What a great way to start the week with the dads bringing their child to Kinder. Each child certainly enjoyed their dad (and mum) being with them spending time outside. It was a great opportunity for the children to show their dad what they liked to do as well as how clever and talented they are when using the climbing equipment as well as other parts of the yard and other experiences. Before the dads had to leave to go to work we all gathered together inside on the mat to sing songs. It was great to hear the dads singing the “Wheels on the bus””Twinkle Twinkle,” “Incy Wincy” and
“Row row your boat” Each child gave their dad their gift that they made especially for them. Thank you so much to the dads who put their key ring with their keys immediately. Your child is so proud of what they have done for you.
We also welcomed a new friend Amar and his family to our Kangaroo Group. We all introduced ourselves and let Amar know what we liked to do while we were at Kindergarten. Amar also told us that he liked to play soccer and build with lego.
This week we have spent time outdoors as the weather has been a little warmer. Some of the children have been taking off their shoes and exploring the different textures/surfaces around the yard.......
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that your child has to have sunscreen applied and has to wear a hat that is to cover their ears and neck. Clothing also has to be appropriate and their shoulders have to be covered as well. This information can be found in our Sun Protection Policy.
Next week is our last week of Term 3 and we are having a footy celebration to end the term. Football jumpers can be worn from any of the codes..........parents are most welcome to come between 3pm and 4pm.....
