3 Year Old Kangaroo Group Blog 27/6/2014
On Monday we started indoors and many gravitated towards the musical instruments that were on the shelves. There was even a band, which walked around the room....what great musicians!!!!!!!The hospital enabled the children to use their knowledge to care for the unwell patients....lots of medicine and injections......
A big thank you to Karen, Gina and Susie, who worked with the children to make a rice paper roll each. Each child chose their own ingredients to go in it. When it came to eating several of the children took them home as you know and others ate them up and said they were delicious and wanted to make them at home.
Fiona was away so Margot was able to spend time with us. Margot read stories, encouraged our imagination when using the wooden people at the doll’s house and spoke to us about the guinea pigs. The musical instruments were played by many of the children who moved around the room like they did yesterday.......At the drawing we spoke about colours, shapes and making patterns. (We can continue to build this information next term)
What a fun Friday for the last of the Term....How many gorgeous teddies we were introduced to. Thank you so much for helping me celebrate my birthday. I am very lucky and what a PARTY!!!!!!!!
We hope you all have a happy and safe holiday....
