3 Year Old Kangaroo Group Blog 8/8/2014
On Monday we started inside and most of the children who were here were able to design their invitation for their dad to come to our morning tea that we are having on Monday 8/9/2014........hope you are able to attend. (9am to 10am) Also during this session we revisited the discussion concerning the importance of trying not to make too much rubbish and how we all can take care of our environment. The children were shown their names and they were able to successfully recognise their own name.....congratulations.
On Tuesday we were outside where the children practiced their skills required for climbing up and over the different pieces of equipment. They are capable of taking on challenges and seem confident when doing so....Inside we pasted items on cardboard yet another way of showing how to reuse different objects to create art.....
Outdoors on Friday we examined the veggie garden and some of the children enjoyed climbing up, along and down the rocks......what a great place to hide. And we played “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” We welcomed a new friend called, Thomas and his mum Melanie. We found out that Thomas enjoys painting and building with blocks.......Zach showed Thomas where the blocks are and they worked together to create an amazing structure.........The aeroplane continues to be a source of interest where the children communicate with each other about where they are going, what they are to eat and many other topics.
