3 Year Old Kangaroo Group Blog 24/10/2014
On Monday we started outdoors on a sunny day. It has been good to see that the children have been wearing an appropriate hat and they have been showing us they also have got sun screen on as well. (This of course needs to continue until the end of the year) The climbing skills of the children have been challenged and they have been successful in moving up, over, along and down the high equipment. A rope ladder has been available for the children to build their upper body strength and well as co-ordination. Educators are of course there to support each child who wants to rise to the challenge. On Tuesday and Friday we started indoors first so we could wait for the sunshine and UV to be less hot. Indoors many of the children continue to build upon their cutting skills and their creativity when choosing different materials in their designs for their collage artwork. Reading and listening to stories continues to be an experience where the children find it relaxing as well as building their love for literature. The silkworms have certainly been an area of interest for the children during the week as they can see how they are growing and what happens when they shed their skin.........comparisons have been made to people and other animals.........what a great learning experience they are........of course this continues...have you seen them yet?????????? 3 Year Old Group Educators; Karen, Fiona and Annette Comments are closed.
