I would like to start this blog with congratulating Molly and her family on the birth of Rose. Molly says “I like giving Rose cuddles”
Congratulation also to Dairy and his family on the birth of his brother who according to Dairy is “tiny tiny”
We have new children in our group and they seem to be settling in happily. Please say hello to our new families.
As you all know we have a mother rabbit, Sally and her babies at the Kindergarten. They will be here for another three weeks. The babies grow very fast, so keep checking on them. If you are interested in purchasing a baby rabbit please let me know as there has already been some interest shown.
On Monday 6/5/2013 we are having David the Music Man come to entertain the children. Stay tuned for the photos and see how many instruments we learn about and can even play, hopefully......
Remember Mother’s Day on Monday 13/5/2013
Autumn has been discussed, especially with all the leaves on the ground. The colours of the leaves have started to be reflected in the drawings of some of the children along with many paintings. Look at our display of autumn on the big wall next to the block area......... A story called, ‘A Tiny Seed’ was read today about a seed that was blown over a long distance and how it came to settle in “under the dirt” and needed “water and sun to grow” If you would like to bring in some leaves from home or any other nature things we always enjoy looking at them and of course talking about them. What a great way to learn and be involved with the world around us.
What will be discovered and discussed next week..............
