3 Year Old Kangaroo Group Blog 16/5/2014
This week we started with celebrating Mother’s Day. It was lovely to see mum and child working together and enjoying the experiences both inside and outside. Of course there was lots of interest in our new mother rabbit, Ash and her 6 babies. Talk about good timing!!!!! Before going home there was dancing to Latin music and we all played MUSICAL STATUES. And what great statues there were. Your child gave you their special gift that they had made for you. Thank you so much for all the delicious food as well. We hope you enjoyed yourselves......... Thank you Alice and family for looking after Jemima and Bruce
On Tuesday the rabbit babies were watched with much anticipation and discussion about what they looked like, what they ate and what will help them grow. There was talk about Ash as well of course as she is very active and likes to eat and take care of her babies. We were lucky to be a part of Mia’s birthday celebrations and Mia’s mum, nana and Uncle Bahni were with us as well. Thank you so much for the yummy cupcakes and honey joys...we were very lucky. Hope Jemima and Bruce have a great time with you in your home Mia.
On Friday we spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the weather and participating in many experiences such as rolling down the hill, being in the sandpit, checking out the veggie garden, some even did painting at the easel, climbing and using our imagination...............We were lucky to have Aiden’s grandparents, brother William and mum with us. Aiden and his mum told us about Norway’s National Day (tomorrow) and what happens. They had flags and special books with many interesting pictures about different places and animals in Norway. We sang a song about the sea and also ate a bole which is similar to a scone type cake. Thank you so very much for sharing part of your culture with us we are very lucky.
