3 Year Old Kangaroo Blog 2/5/2014
I would like to start this blog by THANKING the families who participated in the 3 Year Old Working Bee last Sunday. There was not many in attendance BUT what amazing work you all did. There were many jobs and they were all completed. Just great, the children and the educators certainly appreciate giving your time to work hard at Kinder.
Term 2 started on Monday and the children were all excited to see their friends and participate in the many experiences that have been provided. There was discussion about autumn and how the leaves change colour and fall of the trees, as well as what happens while camping but there was time dedicated to each child to talk to their peers about what they did during their holidays. What great adventures each child got up to. Thank you so much to the families who provided photos and written information about the holidays.
On Tuesday the children spent time watching and talking to the mother rabbit ROXY and her six babies. We will have the rabbit family at Kindergarten for another three weeks. There has been so much excitement and discussion about the rabbits...........We will be able to hold on to the babies next week and maybe even watch them jump around.
We have been very busy today making gifts for our mums.......hope you like them when you receive them at our celebrations on Monday 12th May. Today was a sad day as we said Goodbye to Arjun and his family. Best wishes to you all but remember to keep in touch and visit us when you are in town. Thank you to you all for contributing to the celebrations today.
