This week the weather has been good to us- so we have been busy outside enjoying the fresh air.
We have started several new games in the room including snakes and ladders and twister! A few old time favourites are always fun to bring out. We were lucky enough to watch Group A’s Bollywood dancing and even joined in with the dressing up! We have been looking at Atlases and posters of the world. Linus even showed us how he could count in Spanish and Jack taught us in Italian.
At group times we have started memory games including ‘copy cat’ ‘Chicken Licken’ and ‘My cat likes to hide in boxes’. The children are demonstrating good listening and ‘recall’. We have started ‘name’ recognition and letter-sounds relationships using a range of games and visuals.
This week Cathy (James’s mum) will be making fresh pasta using a special machine and homemade tomato sauce
We celebrated Molly’s 5th birthday with a big ie-cream cake!
Unfortunately many children have not been well. We advise that children only come back when they are feeling well enough.
This Friday 30h- We have Wild Action coming to visit Kinder
