The children enjoy the spirit of Christmas. We have heard many families have already put up their Christmas trees and we are looking forward to having one in our kinder room to decorate. The children have been talking about the meaning of Christmas....
‘It’s about being together and love’ said Lucy
‘It’s about caring for each other’ said Roan
‘If you’re not good- you get a potato!’ said Sienna
‘It’s not all about presents’ said Max
‘It’s about eating good food’ said Jordan
‘You can spend Christmas with friends who live far away’ said Niamh
We have started making our Christmas invitations and bags. Our Christmas bags will go home at the end of the year full of Christmas art and goodies. The children will be busy over the next few weeks - making Christmas wrapping paper, ornaments, painting and cooking some delicious food.
We celebrated Jordan’s birthday today and enjoyed some ice-poles because it was such a hot day! They’ve enjoyed water play with boats and reading in the shade outside. We’ve starting singing Christmas carols and other classic songs for the big day! It’s a busy time of the year...so please take care. ...
