We are well and truly back into the kinder routine. Only it’s a little more fresh in the mornings were children are now required to wear warmer clothing and do not need to wear hats. In replacement of hats it’s a good idea to bring a raincoat and a pair of gumboots which we can keep outside under the verandah for wet muddy play. We still like to play in the rain- getting wet won’t hurt us!
The best part of the week was getting up close and personal with Roxy and her six baby rabbits. Learning about animal life cycles is a motivating experience as most children are naturally interested and curious about animals. The rabbit rearing program provides a highly visual, hands-on, fun and educational experience that children love.
We celebrated Aaron, Linus and James’s 5th birthdays this week and all sung the ‘birthday song and had special treats to celebrate! We sadly had to say goodbye to our friend Daniel who is leaving Australia to live in Singapore, we wish the family all the very best!
Please don’t forget Mothers Day morning tea on Friday 9th starting 8.45-10.00. The children will bake a cake fot the occasion to share with you all.
Enjoy your weekend
