We have had a wonderful Term 2 in the kinder room. The room always has a good buzz in the air and we are constantly trying to keep up with all the children’s ideas, thoughts and catering to all their individual needs. This term we have enjoyed many incursions including Wild Action and David the Music Man; we are lucky enough every week to have Karen and Kylies engaging music and dance classes. In the kinder room the children have engaged in many areas of play including transport, construction, fine art, sensory experiences, light box, marble runner, matching games, role play and the most popular has been Lego.
We are looking forward to continuing our classes Term 3 and working/ caring for your children for the remainder of the year- if you have any questions about school transitions please feel free to talk with staff. As the children move towards the end of their kindergarten year, the preparation of DEECD (Department of Education & Early Childhood Development) Transition Learning & Development Statements are being compiled ready for parents to see in Term 3. This statement summarises the strengths of each child’s learning & development; identifies children’s interests & approaches to learning & indicates how each child can be supported to continue their learning when they attend school next year. The information in this statement is written by kindergarten teachers and is shared with parents and the prep teacher where each child will attend. More information will be given to parents about transition reports next term in preparation for a smooth transition for the beginning of your child’s school years. We hope you had a lovely Term 2 with us Amy, Tracey, Helen and Fiona Ext Hours Kinder Team Reminder- Superhero and fancy dress this Friday 26/06/2015 please bring spare clothes in bags - Please bring a special plate to share for morning tea *Kinder starts back on Tuesday 14th July Comments are closed.
