The holidays are only 3 more sleeps and I cannot wait! There is a very good chance I am more excited than the children. If you are beginning to wonder how to entertain your darlings over the holidays, there are some suggested activities in and around Melbourne in the links below. Don't forget to buy some Easter Eggs from the table in the kindy foyer - $4 a bag. Easter shopping and supporting our kinder in one hit, fabulous!!
Little Melbourne - excellent resource for all the latest happenings in and around Melbourne for babies, toddlers and children. Their Bumper School Holiday Guide is well worth a look. Ripponlea Easter Fun Day - There will be plenty of activities to enjoy - boat rides on the lake, a variety of outdoor games and the Mansion will also be open for all to explore. There is also an Easter Egg Hunt - what more could you want? Scienceworks - celebrates 21 years of science this month. Join the festivities these school holidays - there will be something for the whole family. Immigration Museum - is celebrating Easter traditions from around the world these school holidays; make sure you hop on in and join the fun. Weekly Fire Safety Display - How I have not heard about this great display sooner, I have no idea. I took the children last holidays and it is fabulous. The MFB put on a brilliant display including using the jaws of life, rescuing people, a turn of the firehouse, the list goes on. And of course it is educational and free (you do need to call and book). Brilliant. Babar the Elephant - This concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre tells the much loved story of Babar the Elephant and is appropriate for children age 4 and older. Performance is on Wednesday the 3rd of April at 11.30am. Happy Easter! Comments are closed.
